WHO WE ARE
Wood has been part of the human story since the beginning of time. As humans have developed, so too has our use of wood. Early humans burned it for warmth and for cooking. Later we used wood to fashion tools and provide primitive housing. Over the centuries we have used it to enclose livestock, make furniture, provide transport, and play sports. We also use wood to decorate and enhance our surroundings with anything from simple ornaments to intricate furniture, from sweeping staircases to perfect floors.
Wood is also central to our story at McEvoy Veneers & Marquetry. Every day we combine the traditional skills and techniques of marquetry with the latest technologies, to create custom solutions in wood. These solutions range from veneered panels to inlaid doors, from bespoke furniture to boardroom tables. In consultation with our customers, we select from the vast array of wood veneers at our disposal to craft and deliver to their expectations. We use laser cutting technology to ensure the perfect solution.
McEvoy Veneers & Marquetry is located in Ballyroan, Co Laois and this central location, close to the M7 motorway, makes us very accessible. But accessibility is not what sets us apart. We are flexible, we specialise and it shows. We are dedicated to what we do, innovative in how we do it and proud of what we create.
